The two-storey building to the west of the Great Cathedral was built in solemn harmony with the Metropolitan Complex.

The right wing of the building contains the residence of the auxiliary bishop of the Archbishopric of Iași, while on the upper floor there are rooms for pilgrims. The area is called the Epivata House in remembrance of St Parascheva’s place of birth.
